William Bryan, Soldier and Pioneer Empty
PostSubject: William Bryan, Soldier and Pioneer   William Bryan, Soldier and Pioneer Icon_minitimeThu Jun 19, 2008 1:48 pm

In all the reading and research I have done on the Bryan family, I have never learned the location of the burial of William Bryan, Sr. He was mortally wounded near Bryan's Station in the Spring of 1780. We know that The Bryan family returned to North Carolina after he died and it is doubtful that they would have taken his body back to the old homeplace. So, is he buried on Elkhorn Creek? If anyone has seen reference to this, please post.
